Workshops are a great way to learn about new techniques, connect with other artists, and find out about new materials and products. I can provide lectures, demonstrations and workshops for schools, colleges’, art guilds, art associations and art centers, art museums and a wide variety of art organizations including art retail outlets to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for acrylics and Golden products.
There are so many possibilities for workshops that I thought you might like to know about a few I have taught in the past. All of my workshops have some kind of acrylic product application because of my affiliation with Golden Artist Colors. Golden also manufactures QoR Watercolors and they are included in my workshops. There are basic classes such as Introduction to Acrylics or Color Mixing for those who have little or no experience with Acrylics. There are also classes on creating texture with a variety of gels and pastes. If you’re interested in Encaustic but don’t have the equipment or proper ventilation then I have a class for you “Encaustics: Creating the look with Acrylics.” If you are interested in Mixed Media I have a full range of classes from Basic to Advanced that cover everything you could possibly want to know. I can help you select products, learn techniques, and explore the all the possibilities. There are just so many different techniques and possibilities – you just need to jump in, sign up for a class and get started creating.
PROFESSIONAL LECTURE/ DEMO OPPORTUNITIES: As the Education Coordinator for Golden Artist Colors Inc., I present free educational lectures and demonstrations on the history and development of Acrylic Paints. During the lecture I cover material about acrylic paint and pigments, product usage, and all the various product lines available from Golden.
